Torphins
is a quiet friendly village in a rural setting 20
miles from Aberdeen and close to ‘Royal Deeside.’
It has shops, a church, bank and hotel, together with
a bus service to Banchory and beyond.
Abbeyfield House has six rooms complete with en-suite
facilities. Clean modern amenities are provided in
this comfortable single storey building. Its resident
housekeeper provides home cooking of an exceptional
standard.
Members of the active house committee visit once a
week and together they provide outings and arrange
entertainment. Various local social groups and clubs
are available to join. Informal visits are welcomed
and short stays may be organised by arrangement with
the housekeeper.
