Welcome to Abbeyfield Strathgryffe, Kilmacolm, Quarriers Village
to the Abbeyfield Strathgryffe Society

Our Society operates a Residential Care Home within Quarrier's Village which lies midway between Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm in Renfrewshire. This is an ideal location for the residents to enjoy the peaceful country setting, the Home providing views over fields and surrounding hills.

The Home is registered for 27 elderly residents all of whom will be accommodated within their own single room, 22 of which contain en-suite facilities. The Society offers warmth, comfort, good food and twenty-four hour personal care and supervision by devoted and qualified staff. The Senior Management Team are both qualified Nurses. Activities are organised for residents on a regular basis, including occasional days out for those able.

The Society has, in recent years, completed the refurbishment of the majority of Campbell Snowdon House. In 2004 a new 10-bedroom wing was added. The Society's current plans for 2007/8 involve the upgrading of the five remaining rooms within the Home to have en-suite facilities plus the construction of a further six bedroomed extension. All rooms are bright and tastefully decorated with new bedroom furnishings. All residents are encouraged to bring small items with them from home (not furniture) to personalise their surroundings.

Campbell Snowdon House, which opened in 1984 has gained an enviable reputation locally for providing an extremely high standard of care and the present Committee is carrying this forward with the stated refurbishment/extension plans.
