This is a single, purpose built house, built in 1990,
which contains 10 resident apartments each of which
is part-furnished and has private shower/toilet facilities.
The building also includes accommodation for our live
in house manager and an apartment for relief housekeepers.
There are additional bathroom facilities for both
able and disabled residents. The house also boasts
a ramp exit/entrance allowing full accessibility for
those with locomotor disability and has ample parking
space.
Residents entering Abbeyfield House are usually initially
self-sufficient in their apartments but, if required
later, assistance may be obtained through domiciliary
help and the Community Careline.
Charges are only £150.00 per week (with effect
from 1 May 2006), payable four-weekly in advance.
