Abbeyfield
Scotland's 'North' Area extends from Ballachulish
to Forres and the area North of that line. It is a
picturesque area, with Abbeyfield Houses in Ballachulish,
the Black Isle (Rosemarkie), Forres, Inverness, Nairn
and Strathspey (Kingussie). Ballachulish is a registered
residential care house - all the others provide
very sheltered
Housing. Each of the very sheltered houses offers
the same type of accommodation - a bed-sitting-room
with en-suite facilities, but each has its own distinctive
character. The locations vary from large town to small
town to rural and all are attractive and within easy
reach of shops, post office and health centre.
